The party this year is on Tuesday 20 December, 6:30 – 9ish. New entertainer- ‘Dazzle’, Music, Food, Father Christmas, Presents, Disco         Club then closes and reopens on 10 January 2017

 

About the Club

The Tuesday club has been running since 1975 and is a youth club for people from Wirral with learning disabilities. It is a lively, happy and safe place

 Who can go?

You will need to be between the ages of 12 and 25. Once you have joined you will be able to stay on beyond that age.


What activities are there?
It is a traditional youth club. It includes a first class disco with a regular DJ, a sports hall for football and basketball, table tennis, pool, video games, Arts and crafts and a coffee bar. There are also special events like Halloween, Christmas party, Easter and summer events.

How can I join?
You can join by turning up at 6:30 PM on a club night. If it is your first time you’ve me just like to have a look around to see whether it suits you or not.

Parents and carers
Some of the members come along independently whilst others have carers or parents with them.

Opening times
The club is open Tuesdays during school term time. 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.

What does it cost?
£3. No charge for parents and carers.

Who runs it?
Colin Archer is in charge and there are seven youth workers. Plus numerous pupil volunteers from St Mary’s College.
